Description:

The choice between a world of deceit and glory or a life of humble truth. There are many dancers that move to LA in pursuit of a career as a professional dancer however only a few succeed. In life there are those that get ahead by any means necessary and there are those that are left behind because of passivity or lack a sense of strong will. Which one are you?Prey is a simple movie for everyone who has ever been in the underdog position. It takes place within the professional dance industry of Los Angeles and will be shot in 3D. Principal photography will take place in Los Angeles, Canada, and China capturing the most amazing visual images of dance ever seen on film. The cinematography coupled with mind-blowing choreography will take commercial dance on film to unprecedented heights. We have attached a team of ten of the industry’s best choreographers that have created dance moves for the likes of Michael Jackson, Mariah Carey, Janet Jackson, So You Think You Can Dance, Dancing With the Stars, and many others. This film will highlight and expose the inner workings of the dance industry and the reality of what it takes to succeed in the professional dance world. The concept will be a first of its kind echoing, “the wool has been pulled over our eyes” blinding us from the truth in past dance films. Prey will give us that freedom to release the concepts instilled in our minds by previous dance films exposing us to the truth of the business of dance.

Synopsis

What will be the result if the inside structure of the dance world is exposed? Simple answer; our Hero Brayden will resonate the message to all that no matter your position in life, “You too, can do it ” Our protagonist Brayden will have a harder battle reaching success however his morals and values will stay in tack throughout. Today we live in a world where most young adults seek validation on Facebook, Twitter and all other social media platforms. This film will incorporate some of these elements. Our leads Brayden and Staci are similar to your everyday teenager next door however their integrity differs when it comes to succeeding in the world of dance. Pursuing one’s dreams can be challenging, how will they handle situations thrown at them? Stacy’s integrity will be challenged in her succeeding in Los Angeles. While, Brayden’s talent shines through his dance ability, his slow learning of choreography hinders it. After leaving Dallas, Texas their relationship is tested as they struggle to succeed in Los Angeles. Can they weather the storm? There are many distractions that can hinder one’s focus in Los Angeles. The truth of the world coupled with greed and opportunity will define some. Careers will be made and relationships will be lost. There are millions of Americans who believe in the power of the underdog, as it exists in all of us. Prey is a feature film for the entire family with a great tale. It’s about the concept of taking the most important things in life for granted, it’s about hope, love and belief. It’s about integrity and morals and doing the right things in life. There is more to the world of dance than you have seen in previous dance films and Prey will give you an inside, heartfelt look.
